Anxiety & Overthinking Therapy

When Your Mind Never Seems to Slow Down

You may appear calm on the outside while your mind is constantly racing. If you find yourself overthinking conversations, worrying about the future, or feeling unable to relax, you're not alone—and it doesn't have to stay this way.

Is This You?

Many people struggling with anxiety and overthinking find themselves:

✓ Replaying conversations long after they're over

✓ Constantly imagining worst-case scenarios

✓ Feeling restless even when nothing is wrong

✓ Having difficulty making decisions

✓ Struggling to quiet your thoughts before bed

✓ Feeling responsible for everyone else's happiness

✓ Seeking reassurance but never feeling fully reassured

✓ Feeling mentally exhausted from constant worry

What Anxiety Really Is

Anxiety isn't simply "thinking too much."

Often, it's your nervous system trying to protect you from uncertainty, rejection, failure, or losing control.

Your brain begins treating everyday situations as potential threats, keeping your body in a constant state of alertness.

Over time, this cycle can leave you feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and disconnected from the present moment.

Anxiety Isn't Who You Are

Many of my clients worry that they'll always be "an anxious person."

But anxiety is not your personality.

It's a pattern your mind and body have learned—one that can be understood, challenged, and gradually changed.

Together, we'll explore what keeps your anxiety going while helping you build greater calm, confidence, and flexibility.

How Therapy Can Help

Together, we’ll:

• understand the patterns driving your anxiety

• recognize and interrupt cycles of overthinking

• reduce excessive worry and self-doubt

• build healthier ways to cope with uncertainty

• calm your nervous system

• develop greater confidence and emotional resilience

The goal isn't to eliminate every anxious thought.

It's to help anxiety stop controlling your life.

My Approach

I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, IFS-informed work, mindfulness, and expressive arts interventions to help you understand not only your anxiety—but also the deeper experiences and beliefs that continue to fuel it.

Rather than simply teaching coping skills, we'll work to uncover the underlying patterns so lasting change becomes possible.
