Relationships & Attachment Therapy

Build Healthier Relationships by Understanding Yourself

Relationships can bring connection, joy, and healing—but they can also become a source of anxiety, conflict, and emotional pain. Therapy can help you understand the patterns that keep repeating so you can build relationships that feel more secure, balanced, and fulfilling.

Is This You?

Relationship challenges often look like:

✓ Worrying that people will leave or lose interest

✓ Feeling emotionally distant even when you want connection

✓ Overthinking texts, conversations, or small changes in someone's behavior

✓ Struggling to communicate your needs without guilt

✓ Repeating the same unhealthy relationship patterns

✓ Feeling responsible for keeping everyone happy

✓ Pulling away when relationships become emotionally vulnerable

✓ Wanting closeness while also fearing it

What Attachment Really Is

Attachment isn't about being "too needy" or "too independent."

It's the emotional blueprint we develop through our earliest relationships, shaping how we experience trust, safety, conflict, and connection throughout life.

These patterns often operate automatically, influencing how we respond to intimacy, rejection, and emotional vulnerability.

The good news is that attachment patterns are not permanent. With awareness, practice, and supportive relationships, they can change.

Your Relationship Patterns Make Sense

Many people blame themselves for struggling in relationships.

But often, those patterns developed for a reason.

Maybe you learned to stay hyperaware of other people's emotions.

Maybe you learned to hide your own needs.

Maybe keeping your distance once felt safer than risking disappointment.

Together, we'll gently explore these patterns—not with judgment, but with curiosity and compassion—so you can begin responding in ways that feel more secure and authentic.

How Therapy Can Help

Together, we’ll:

• identify your attachment patterns

• understand how past experiences influence current relationships

• improve communication and emotional awareness

• develop healthier boundaries

• build greater self-worth independent of others' approval

• create more secure and fulfilling relationships

The goal isn't to become a different person.

It's to help you feel safer being your authentic self in relationships.

My Approach

I integrate Attachment-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), IFS-informed work, mindfulness, and expressive arts interventions to help you understand both your current relationship struggles and the deeper experiences that shaped them.

Rather than focusing only on relationship conflicts, we'll explore the patterns beneath them—creating meaningful, lasting change in how you relate to yourself and others.
